Sometimes strategy has to take a backseat to simply getting everything done – without worrying about forgetting tasks, stressing family relationships, or missing deadlines!   I can help students focus on the basics with my Application Essentials package.  Through a series of eight private meetings (up to 10 hours of consultant time) and additional student work, the Application Essentials package covers:

• Reviewing the college list for length and balance in terms of admissions difficulty

• Brainstorming, drafting and editing the main personal statement

• Filling out the Common Application

• Access to a computer-based system that aids in college research, compiles application requirements and essays, facilitates tracking, and helps the student, parent and consultant to stay in sync throughout the process.

• Advice and editing for up to two supplemental essays

• Establishing a timeline, sending reminders, making sure the work gets done -- with time left over to enjoy senior year!
